Muffin Tin Swap
Thursday, August 27, 2009
I am ashamed to admit that I received this package over a week ago and I'm just now getting to the point of blogging out it's fabulous contents. Her Cup Overfloweth hosted a Muffin Tin Swap and I just had to participate. I love sharing my love for making lunches fun... and what better way than to send someone else some of the things that I use... and that the kids love.
My swap partner was Monica and she has two twin boys. I sent her a bunch of random things... a few bento things from Daiso, some ice cream sandwich molds/cutters, and some silicone muffin tin liners. I had really wanted to do a theme - but I just couldn't make it happen (without doing Halloween... and that was a bit obvious during this time of year).
Monica sent me some fantastic items as well (sorry, they are out of the packaging because we started using them right away... Teddy Bear picnic and Muffin Tin Monday). The muffin cups with feet were perfect for this week's theme, People and Faces. The Teddy Bear ones get used regularly (which is why they aren't all in the picture - some of them are dirty from today's lunch). We have yet to use the sprinkles, but the kids are excited. I am going to have to do those on one of my stronger days as I'm still working at sticking to my diet. And finally, the paper liners in primary colors are fabulous. In fact, I was recently looking online for some because I like the solid colors when I use my cupcake stand.

So, thank you Monica for an awesome package... and thank you to Michelle of Her Cup Overfloweth for hosting the whole exchange!
