It's my first!

My first tshirt dress with one of my screen printed designs. This is just one of many designs that we are considering. I'm also doing it different ways... printing on the tshirt, then cutting it. Making the dress first, then screen printing it. This one was printed on a large remnant of tshirt knit that we found. I had originally decided to make it into a skirt - possibly in an adult size. But I later decided that I still wasn't ready to do adult sizes and it soon became this cute little (size 6) girl's dress. I love it and can't wait to play around with more of my screen printed designs.

I also gave you a glimpse of my clean workspace... amazing, isn't it! Well, it's amazing that I've managed to keep it clear for two weeks now. That's the new tv my husband bought me (just noticed it still has the sticker - haha, I'm sure that'll be there for a while since we just removed the clean plastic off our normal tv a few months ago... it had been on there for nearly a year) - it's great because it plays movies and music. It isn't hooked up to cable right now - but really, I'm not sure I need it since I might be more tempted to watch than work :)

Oh, and the Yoda had that I was playing around with the other day. That one was just for fun. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. It was mainly to see if I could do the wrinkles on the top of his head. And I can. Yay me!

I've been feeling pretty lousy all week. So I'm glad that I'm finally feeling better. It's a shame that it has taken me until Friday! I did make up for lost time though and made 4 tshirt dresses. I'm hoping for another productive weekend like last weekend.
