What a novel idea!

I can't believe it... it's over a week before my swag for UCU is due and I have them all made! It's just not like me as I am a procrastinator and always have been. I think I learned it in grade school when we were given extra time to prepare a project - I always waited for the last minute and continued to carry the tradition through high school and beyond.

So it is out of character that I have these done. Of course, I still need to do the tag that will go with them... and I'm sure I'll procrastinate on those. I'm still working my idea out in my head and that can take some time. I'll be contributing 10-15 cuffs and 10-15 hair clips (made from recycled tshirts).

Check out my idea for the cuff (it's supposed to be a fist)! I am leaning toward requiring them to stop my booth for the second cuff (if they don't want to, the cuff can stand alone and be just fine - and if I have single cuffs left over... I can just make a mate to match it)... and a discount for any single item of a certain amount... probably $15. The clips will just be attached to a business card with no extra incentive or discount. It's really hard for me to offer a discount considering I don't mark my items up a whole lot. But this will be a learning experience. I'll have to see how many people take me up on my offer. And with only 10-15... it should be pretty easy to measure the results.
