Apple Pie

I'm not a huge fan of fruit - it's a texture thing for me. But I do like the flavor of many fruits and one of the few fruits that I do occasionally like is apples. I had three apples sitting on the counter the other day looking a bit old and decided they needed to be used. So, I made up some apple cinnamon mixture, found an easy pie crust recipe and made these little babies! They came out cute and yummy! It was also a nice surprise for the family as I rarely make anything from scratch. I do think that the crust could have used a little bit of sweetness, but it was nice and flaky. I really do need to do more baking this winter. It seems to make everyone in the house a little bit happier.
