Tackle it Tuesday

I've been obsessed with color lately. I mean, I always use a lot of color... but right now I feel like I need to put every color into everything I do. Not necessarily a bad thing. This morning I've been making lots of recycled t-shirt flowers. Again, trying to use up those scraps. These flowers don't make a huge dent in that pile though. Hopefully when I return from California I can share a tutorial. They are really fun to make.

So far, I make them three different ways... but I have ideas for more. So I'm sure by the time I return from vacation, I'll have plenty to share. I'll probably be listing these in the one of the stores too... I mean, what I am I going to do with so many!

I've also been making small and simple button stack tacks. I plan on selling these in the shop soon in larger sets than the 8 per set. I haven't yet decided how many. I've made them with just buttons and some with buttons and jewels for those that like a little sparkle.

Wow - I have a lot to do upon my return! I still need to list the tack-less button stacks as well. And thanks to Carrie, I'm also working on some for the hair... as if I need more ideas :)

Luckily, I'll just be visiting family in San Jose. This means that I can often get work done. I have three custom order mermaid tails that I need to complete, a few wholesale orders that I need to fill... oh, and then there's that little commitment called the Mill Creek Festival. With the way my calendar is filling and the orders are coming in, it looks like it'll be a busy summer. I'm excited!
