Tackle it Tuesday

Okay, so my idea of Tackle it Tuesday was originally to make something from my huge boxes of tshirt scraps. I obviously got bored with that quickly and now Tackle it Tuesday seems to move from one thing to another. Today, I don't have it complete (because I think it'll take a lot longer than a day), but I thought it was time to tackle a system for my many, many patterns and ideas.

I used to put them (and still occasionally do) each into their own envelope and then I'd label the envelope. But when I'm in the middle of a project - I sometimes can't be bothered with doing that. Add to that, the fact that I use anything around me to make my patterns (pattern paper, kids drawings, junk mail, you name it - I've probably used it - and you have an unorganized mess. The two boxes you see above are not all that I have. Yep, this could take a while. I'd welcome any suggestions you have! I think today I'll work on just getting all the various patterns flat and together. I'm sure that alone will keep me plenty busy.
