Under the Mistletoe

Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner already??? It seems as a child, Christmas couldn't come sooner... now, I find myself wishing to skip it or push it back just a few more months.


But this year, I plan on taking it head on... preparing myself so that I can enjoy the holidays. We have lots of family coming to town this year which makes it even more important that I do as much as I can ahead of time so that I can enjoy their company.


To get myself in the mood - and yes, I did this before Halloween (gasp!) - I started to make fleece mistletoe (the one pictured has already sold, but I will have more in the shop soon). I love the idea of mistletoe - but I hate that the fresh mistletoe always look horrible, you have to find a new one every year and every year you could pay a ridiculous amount for a small twig of it. This mistletoe will last year after year - so you will only have to buy one! It's also soft - I love fleece!
