Tackle it Tshirt Tuesday - Ornaments

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

I admit, I haven't been sitting at my sewing machine lately... and when I have it's been to make something quick - to get an idea off my mind. I hate trying to do other things (like clean the house) when I have a new idea that's just waiting to be tried.

So, I made those Christmas trees last Tuesday and have been wanting to make ornaments with the same technique, but flat. I thought they would be fun for the kids to decorate. We haven't decorated them yet - but I think they came out really cute. They are between 4-5 inches tall and about 3 inches wide.

They are cute the way they are, but I plan on letting the kids glue some buttons or jewels (or both) on them so they have their own homemade ornament on the tree this year.

Tomorrow I'll be announcing some rare sales that I'll be having in a few of my shops for Friday through Monday this weekend. In addition, I'll give you a link to the sales of my fellow EtsyRAINers. Shop online and avoid the crowds and parking!

These are super cute, and I think the kids will have some fun with the decorating as well! I know I would! :)

Those are super cute, Kayce!! GREAT use for tees. I am a sucker for trees, too.
