Benefit Craft Show

My son and I are excited to help his beloved animals this weekend. Robbie LOVES animals of all sorts. Last month, tons of animals were seized from several puppy mills in the area. Robbie and I have been following the story and brainstorming ideas of how he can help these animals. Then, an opportunity to show at a craft fair benefiting these animals came up and we jumped on it.
We are thrilled to be supporting local animal shelters and I'm excited to introduce Robbie to his first experience in community service and saving animals. This week, my mom and I have been sewing like crazy trying to make enough catnip toys to sell at the benefit craft show. Robbie has been helping where he can and he has been thinking about what he wants to do with the money that he makes. He has decided that he wants to buy food for the animals to take to the local animal shelters. I hope this experience is a positive one.
If you live in the Puget Sound area, please come out to see us. There will be entertainment and activities - and there is a benefit dinner in the evening. There is a $5 admission fee (12 and under are free).
We'll be bringing our catnip toys and some new zip pouches that I've been making from recycled t-shirts (see picture above). We'll look to see you there!
