Preparations... will begin tomorrow.

Just two days away, you would think I'd be nearing complete with my preparations for the show on Saturday. Ahhh... but you don't know me very well! I have fortune cookies to finish, displays to finish up, necessities to gather... and what I have I been doing this week?

Well, I started off the week making more dresses from t-shirts and an apron from a fat quarter. I moved back onto costumes and started making a woodland cloak (it's sitting unfinished because I don't have a trim for it). And yesterday, I sat around with the kids doing nothing (granted, I didn't have much choice since I was a bit unsteady on my feet). And my big plans for today... while my son is at the Reptile Zoo in Monroe with a friend, Lyssie and I will be hitting the thrift stores! I have so many ideas... and not enough shirts that I want to cut up. So we will be on the hunt.

I have promised myself that I'd finish up the fortune cookies tonight... and the rest of the stuff tomorrow. I'm certain I can do it. Just one more day of foolin' around and I'll be back to work! Ha, famous last words!
