A Sea of Tails

Saturday, February 16, 2008

Friday I finally mailed out the six mermaid tails I had been working on this past week/week and a half. They came out great! This morning, I have also been working on sewing up a few in some other colors as I have another order of 6 to get out the door. I am swimming in mermaid tails! I'm still working on getting some decent photos for the store. My daughter is getting better at cooperating... but the larger tails just don't fit her!

I'm excited about some of the new fabrics though. They are turning out fantastic! I am anxious to finish up the wholesale order and get a few of them posted in the store again. These things are so much fun. Even My daughter is finally starting to appreciate my work :) Although, she has been enjoying the tiaras a lot lately as they are actually her size.

So, back to the sewing machine! But first, I'll post a few of the fun pictures my daughter took today.

How big a person do you need for your larger mermaid tail pictures? I may have one to lend out, if we can mesh our schedules.

Trina... ideally a five or six year old. I've just added length to the large tails, so they will fit different sizes... but my son won't do it. But we could get together and try it out!
